There are three types of home heating oil dealers.

Full Service

Full Service dealers offer a wide array of products and services, some of which include:

extending credit
providing 24 hour emergency service
Automatic Delivery of Oil

Full Service Dealers are interested in providing total peace of mind for their customers.

Discounters pretending to be Full Service

This type of dealer might advertise in a local paper "Burner Service Available". Typically this is a discount dealer that has one or two subcontractors that handle service calls for them. If you lose your heat on Christmas Eve, do you think a subcontractor is going to come out promptly? Or at even at all? Are you willing to risk your family's holiday comfort on a subcontractor? These types of dealers might offer one or two of the services that a Full Service dealer provides, but certainly not all.

Discounters

Most discount companies are interested in only supplying fuel to customers, and they often talk about how they can save you 5 to 10 cents per gallon over full service companies (or other discounters pretending to be full service). Don't be fooled!!!!

TRUTH AND FACT:

Even if you save 10 cents per gallon on 1000 yearly gallons, you will only save $100.00 over the entire year. If we can save you 10% (100 gallons) because of proper preventative maintenance and quality fuel, at today's prices you will save significantly more!
